Version 2.9.2 Release Notes

March 23rd, 2020

Overview

Code3 Strategist 2.9.2 is a maintenance release containing minor fixes to error messages, an improvement to OSM routing capabilities, and minor new features.

Major Changes

Added new dispatch action: The “Add Closest Role(With QRT – Advanced)” dispatch action acts like the “Add Closest Role(With QRT)” action, but with some additional capabilities:

  • Both primary and QRT roles are both capable of receiving multiple roles. If multiple roles are specified, available units are selected in proximity order, nearest first. If multiple available units are equidistant from the incident, the equidistant unit that can perform the earliest-listed role is chosen.
  • The QRT Trigger Threshold and QRT Trigger Units allow you to specify threshold conditions under which the dispatch action is to apply. If the initial response requires less than the threshold value, the QRT unit will not be activated. For example, if the QRT Trigger Threshold is 6.5 and the QRT Trigger Units value is “Minutes from Incident”, the QRT will be ignored if a primary unit is 6.5 minutes or less from the incident. If the QRT Trigger Threshold value is omitted, no threshold is applied.
